My babies couldn't care less about this toy

The craftmanship of this toy is excellent. And my husband and I both really like it - it makes an interesting noise when we click the sides together, and it wiggles around when we wave it in the air, and then rolls like a solid ball too. That's great....for us. However, my 9 month old twins couldn't care less about this toy. They can't figure out how to hold it, even with two hands, and so they can't make any noise with it or make it wiggle around. Therefore, it's pretty hard to get them to chase after it, even if it does roll prettily along the carpet. Maybe they will like it more when they get older?

This is so much fun... a twist on a normal ball, this rolls and clacks the whole way. Perfect to grasp and chew on as well!

The ball is very well made, tennis ball sized. A bungee cord holds it together giving it the ability to bend from side to side producing a nice wooden clak. My 7 month old has had this for a few months and she definitely likes it. I admit I thought it was a bit of an odd shape for a baby to pick up but my daughter doesn't seem to care and has no problems with it and even seems to enjoy the unusual build of it. She still sucks on the ball although you would think that would be hard too. It looks fascinating when it's spun like a top.I imagine she will continue to like this ball as she grows and can start to really participate in rolling it about. As for us adults in the house, we find ourselves absently-mindly holding it and softly clacking it from one side to another- ahhh... baby toy therapy.

A Ball of Fun

My son really liked this toy, probably more when he was past 1 though vs. a smaller baby. It could be a bit hard to pick up and would sit firmly in the bottle/cup holder part of this car seat and stroller tray. That being said, past age 1 he really like to pick it up, clack it, roll it and just toss it in general. It is a solid ball though so if it gets thrown at something it may break it. Later we passed the toy on to our neighbors little boy (11 months) and he seems to really enjoy playing with it as well.
