Beautiful toys but Be careful...

My son has the Plan City Airport with this plane as well as the Helicopter.
We have found that the small wooden vehicles break apart easily. This doesn't worry me too much with my son as he is old enough to know not to put them in his mouth - it does worry me with my 8 month old daughter.
I have been able to glue the parts back together and they look like new but I would expect better quality than that.
The toys are beautifully made and my son loves them - I just think parents of smaller children should be watchful with them.

Cute, but only so so

This airplane has been in our house about a year now and both my 3 year old and I feel very so so about it. My son LOVES airplanes so I thought it would be a hit, but it has a few big drawbacks. The biggest drawback is that the pilot is held in place with a little elastic band like many of the other plan toys. It keeps the pilot in, but it is nearly impossible for a 3 year old to put the pilot in by himself. It even takes a tiny bit of finagling for an adult. Plus the legs on our pilot are just a hair too sort, so unless he is positioned just perfectly he kind of pops up and hangs off the top. The plane itself is well constructed, but it is small and by itself it doesn't get played with a lot. This may be different if we had the whole airport set as well. The little pilot fits with almost all the other play city things so he on his own is more popular than the plane. All in all, I am not sure I would buy this again.
