Different Bread?

I don't know why, but Haba made the bread for this sandwich slightly different from the bread in the big loaf. It's okay though, we bought it anyway so we could get the fun sandwich ingredients. The lettuce is very cool - it makes a "crinkly" sound when you squish it, like the noisy cloth baby toys. My littlest one is always trying to get at these Haba cloth foods, and I'm totally fine with that, as long as I'm around to supervise.

Cute sandwich

I love this sandwich. It is so cute and the boys love to play restaurant with it. I love the crinkly lettuce and the fact that the bread has a magnet inside and sticks together. Very cute and high quality product.

Not as good as the hamburger

I don't know if they used a weaker magnet, but even if you don't use all of the fillings, the magnets just aren't strong enough to hold everything together. My daughter doesn't seem to mind, though. She still likes to make sandwiches for daddy.
