Blooming Beauty
Love this pacifier chain!!! So happy and colorful, my daughter still plays with it, months after not using a pacifier any more!!!! Great product!!!
Beautiful, but
don't put it in the wash. I put it in the washing machine after it got spewed on and gooed on. The flowers still look good, but the faces came off the flowers. Still, it is a beautiful and unusual pacifier chain.
So pretty!
We got this as a gift, and even though we've never used a pacifier I clipped this to my dipaer bag just because it's so pretty. I actually used it on my ring sling too ... I clipped a teething ring to it and it signaled to everyone that my newborn was in fact a girl. :)
Not my favorite
I wouldn't highly recommend this style of paci clip. I buy paci clips often for baby gifts, and this one is quite SHORTER than the rest. So you have to clip it on much closer to their mouth...as well as upsidedown to help it to reach baby's mouth. ANd because of the detail and width of it, it almost drew TOO much attention to my little girl, so she kept unclipping it and pulling it off of her clothes to play with it. Kind of defeats the purpose of keeping the paci where you can find it! I recommend the all wooden paci clips sold on this site.
Cute but....
My twins have several of Haba's clips and they have ended up being more of a toy than a pacifier keeper. Since they are large and bright, they want to pull and tug on them, which pulls them loose everytime. They would rather chew on these than suck on their paci. Defeats the purpose of keeping the paci in place. My biggest complaint is the fact that it is difficult to attach the pacis. We put our pacis in the sterlizer every night and it's a pain to take them on and off of these! Much easier with holders with snaps or velcro. Since they are shorter than others, they are useless as toy keepers. It doesn't allow enough room for the babies to play with their toys without yanking the holder.
Adorable on it's own
We don't use pacifiers but we were looking for a way to keep toys from hitting the floor when we are out. The flowers are beautiful and my 7 month old gets lots of positive comments on this. She likes to play with it on it's own and suck on the petals and play with the beads. We have some of the other Haba toys that have a loop for stroller hanging and I thought this chain would be perfect for that too. But... getting the open loop end over the big flower's head is a pain and takes a minute. It's so much of a hassle we usually leave it empty and let her just play with the chain. We've also found it's easy to yank the clip free from thin fabric like clothing. My baby is 7 months old and therefore much stronger than a newborn, so perhaps it's just a slight bump for us and as she gets older she'll appreciate leaving it in place. Overall all it's a bit hard to use but it's so sweet we still like it.
Adorable!
This is the cutest pacifier chain I've seen! Unlike other reviewers, my 10 month old daughter has never pulled this off of herself and doesn't even seem to notice it. She plays with the teething ring or the pacifier I place on the end but not the chain itself. It is a bit of a hassle to take the pacifier off the chain. I find that I don't mind but I can see how this could frustrate some people. I am very happy with this purchase!
