CUUUUUTE!!!

My daughter LOVES pretending to make little eggs for us, absolutely adorable and perfect quality again from Haba!

What a perfect idea!

When my teenagers were just outgrowing pretend play, I discovered Haba foods and was so sad that I couldn't rationalize the investment. How happy I am, that I now have young children again and have a great reason to start collecting. Haba foods are adorable! They are of great quality and perfect for little hands. This is a great idea. My daughter has been helping me cook real eggs since she could stand and this is a perfect way for her to extend that fun into her playtime. The egg is a great size and fairly easy to open. The little fried egg is the biggest surprise. I'm going to get a few more, so she and her friends can eat "breakfast" together.

Great idea!

My daughter loves watching me make eggs in the morning and so I was thrilled when I discovered this fried egg. She can easily crack the egg open and drop it in the skillet. She gets so excited everytime she does it. Great buy!

Not so tough

Great idea behind making this toy, however I find that the shell is not strong enough to put up with toddlers who may sit or step on them while ?cooking?. Most of my sons shells were bent during play and will no longer close or open. We do still use the soft part to fry eggs.

EGG -Cellent!!!

My three year old daughter received many pieces of play food this Christmas, and this egg was by far her FAVORITE item. She plays with it every day. It fits perfectly in the frying pan by Plan Toys.

Great but tough to open

What a cute toy this is. My daughter loves to crack open an egg when we make cookies so she loes this egg for her play kitchen. I find it is very difficult for even me to open the shell though. I don't think that should be a reason not to buy this toy, just an observation. She still loves it and I just have to open it for her.
