Could I offer you a cup of tea?

After reading Owl at Home a hundred times my kids became obsessed with "making tea," so we purchased this set. The Quality is outstanding - I have yet to be disappointed by any Plan Toy. Only thing is that some of the pieces are very small (such as the spoons and sugar cubes) and can easily be lost (also extra vigilance is needed if your older kids have infant siblings), Regardless, the set comes highly recommended.

Plan Tea Set

My neighbor is from England, so my boys have been obsessed with Tea ever since we were invited by our neighbor for some one afternoon. Plan Toys are so fantastic, this was the obvious choice for us. The quality is great and my boys feel like real little gentlemen when they are serving me some tea. I've hidden away the little sugar cubes until my 2 year old can be trusted with tiny food objects a bit more.

tiny and disappointing

Having only seen the images online shopping, I just received our set and was in SHOCK over how tiny it really is. The cups aren't even hollowed out enough to allow for pretend tea (water) fills. These items are difficult for small hands to manipulate, and not at all realistic enough in shape or size to provide a fun experience for young tea enthusiasts. The 'sugar cubes' just look like bitty scraps of wood picked off the shop floor at night. The creamer and sugar bowl are near identical blobs of wood. Definitley NOT worth the price. I wish I would have went with the eco-recycled plastic set which our friends daughter has and loves! I purchased several other Plan Toys and am more impressed with them, but will not buy any others after this disappointment.
