So fun

These were meant for my daughter, but my son really loves them. The beads are so large and sturdy. He has a great time playing with them imaginatively, not just threading them. We love all the Haba threading beads. They are so much better than any other brand I've seen because of the threader. With other brands we've owned, my daughter constantly had to ask us to help push the thread all the way through the thick block. She can do these herself, and that makes her feel much more satisfied.

Super fun for all ages!

I love, love, love these beads. They are a great value for a great toy! My children are almost 2, and they have been playing with these for about 6 months now - I just took away the smallest beads. The only reason I took off one star is because the string is not attached to the wooden piece that helps it go through the beads, so I had to tape them together. This set is so cute, and goes well with the other sets, so buy a few!

Super toys for our two boys

Really terrific toy for our boys, 2 1/2 and 1 year old. We bought the Aqua Zoo, the Cars and the Houses to minimize brawls and so that there are ample beads to keep everyone happy. The term 'beads" understates the size, elegance and quality of these chunky pieces of art. I glued the lace to the wooden dowel using Elmers Glue. This made all the difference in the world. The only downside seems to be picking up all the pieces from around the house but what else is new when you have toddlers?
