Animal Yahtzee
As a big yahtzee fan, I just had to get this game for my kids. It is perfect for both little ones and older ones, because it uses animals pictures rather than numbers. Counting is minimal, so even the young ones can participate. The tin makes perfect storage and is great for taking on a trip.

Cute twist on Yahtzee
This well-packed tin is about the size of a small canned good. It is perfect to carry with us everywhere, and doesn't have too many pieces to pack it back up quickly. The animal shapes are cut into the dice as well as painted on. The younger kids really have a lot more fun with this version of Yatzee because the animals are a simpler concept than plain numbers. We added a small pencil sharpener which we keep in the tin.

Great for taking out
We got this for a 5 year old boy and he definitely likes it. Its so much simpler than the full version of yahtzee. The animals require no hard work to count up and the colors make it easy to spot matches. We found this game is great at restaurants. The small tin can is cute and just the right size to tag a ride in baby sister's diaper bag.

Fun Introduction to Yahtzee!
We put this in my 4 year old daughter's stocking this year for Christmas, and we've gotten a great deal of play out of it since. It's fun to play because, with only minimal assistance and suggestions, my daughter can rely on luck, which puts the two of us on a level playing field.
The scoring is a tad different from traditional Yahtzee, but in most respects it is reminiscent of the game I grew up with, replacing the standard die dots with color-coded animals, of course.
Even my not-quite two year old can get in on the fun with this one, which is nice because she so often gets excluded from games to a great extent. if she isn't really aware of scoring or the actual gameplay. She really likes the baboons on the dice :)
I'm really glad we purchased this game and think it will bring joy for years to come.
