Good toy, but some problems with glue
My 9 month old twins really like this toy. They seem to enjoy the face of the bear, and watching it spin around and around as they flick it.
However, I wasn't able to give this toy to my babies immediately, as I had to sand off some VERY sharp edges on the glue in several areas first. I know that this is probably not a problem with every "Bear in the Ring" toy, and I have never had any other problems with Haba toys, but it is why I can't give the toy a higher rating.
Quality toy
My baby's favorite toy - he really liked licking and sucking on it - I guess the smooth texture pacifies him.
our 1st haba
bear in the ring is an adorable little teething/flicking toy. i think it is pretty special for little ones learning to pick up/manipulate small items- my 8 month old loves moving the ball-hands with his thumb and pointer finger, pincer-style. this was our very first haba toy and it has been loved by 2 eager teethers. my only complaint is the small size of the ring, which can make it difficult for chubby hands to rattle.
Adorable Baby Toy
We just love these Haba baby toys - they are so cute compared to the obnoxious baby toys we see at department and discount stores. This one is so cut eand adults seem to like playing with it as much as kids. I was just reading the other reviews and have had no problems with glue on ours, it's smooth and very well made. Also, our 5 month old is able to grasp it just fine... it's loved by everyone!
Another winner from Haba
I just love the Haba teethers and this is one of my favorites. First, the texture is so smooth. It is such a high quality item. My son, who is 11 months loves gnawing at it and looking at the teddy bear. Even my three year old loves flipping the bear and watching it. I think it's great for developing fine motor skills.
