A Fine Set of Brushes

Really, this is a nice set of basic brushes for a good price. These will work with all the types of paint: watercolor, tempera and acrylic. We mostly use them with tempera. There is a nice variety of size and shape, they fit nicely into children's hands, and there is a nice springy bounce to the bristles. I really like the handles, which are pretty and candy like, as well as practical and easy to clean. This would make a great stocking stuffer. By the way, our set has withstood over almost a couple years worth of use and abuse (we paint a lot) and look as good as new. I would prefer if there were some larger brushes -- but these ones are fine for working on regular sized paper (8 1/2 x 11) and they have proven to be very valuable, all around brushes.
