These are such great blocks! I was given 2 sets as gifts and was going to return one and decided not to, because my daughter likes them so much. It is more enjoyable for her to build items now that she has both sets. They are well made, beautiful colors and provides hours of encouraging creativity! A must for any play room.

Our 15-month-old son loves to stack things, and loves to knock down what other people have stacked. Fortunately, these blocks are so adorable, my husband and I are happy to build and rebuild castles and towers for him to wipe out. The colors are gorgeous and the shapes are even better - our son loves to wander around with some of the more unusual shapes clutched in his hands - especially the little topknot domes - and put them in and out of other toys. It's worth it to spend a little more and get a toy designed and crafted with care and a real sense of childlike whimsy. I only wish we had more!

I bought these blocks to supplement the smaller sets of Haba blocks. that we started out with. I have older children and remember that a vey nice set of blocks is a toy that grows with the child ; I expect to get a good decade of use out of these before I save them for my grandchildren. These blocks are of excellent quality and fun for my toddler and my teens and mom, too. There's something very cheerful and satisfying aout the unusual designs and bright colors and the shapes - especially the prisms and the domes are just fun. We've spent hours building towers for the little ones to knock down.

I got this hoping to give it to my son for Christmas, but after seeing them in real life I had to open and play with blocks right away. They are wonderful to build with; my only wish is they had more pieces in the set. I had to get one more to expend the fun. Sometimes I catch my husband building with them alone =)

My daughter got these when she was only 6 months old, but has loved them from the beginning. At first she'd only mouth them ... now she's beginning to stack them and knock them back down at 11 months. She also "shares" them with mama by handing me the blocks, one by one ... then taking them all back again. I anticipate many years of use for these as she learns to love them in a new way as she develops and learns new skills.

We have two sets of these blocks and they are absolutely stunning---our 15 month old loves playing with them and so do we. However the half-ball blocks are choking hazards; our daughter stuffed one in her mouth and really started choking on it. My husband was right there and was able to pry it out quickly but not before she threw-up from gagging. We took those two out and all is fine, but I wouldn't let younger kids play with these unsupervised.

We purchased this set to give as a gift but had to buy another for our own son. They are just wonderful! They are beautiful and so eye-catching. I was concerned about them being safe for the age recommended (1+), but every piece is nice and big. Our 20 month-old son loves them, but his older siblings love them too.

My son (11 months) really enjoys playing with these blocks. He seems to enjoy all the different colors and shapes and, of course, is always pleased to knock down anything we build for him! These are especially nice as they offer variety without their being so many blocks as to be overwhelming. I did take out four of the smaller rounded pieces as he could put the whole thing in his mouth, but when he gets older I'll put them back in.

This is the most perfect gift you could buy for anyone. They are gorgeous, come in nice packaging, are of exceptional quality, educational, and you can never have too many. We bought these to supplement our big set of plain wood Haba blocks and they make the whole set much more fun. Buy a few sets and you always have a gift on hand for little ones of any age!

Love this set of blocks, colorful with various shapes it makes me want to play with my kid all the time. We had this toy for almost 2 years now and blocks look as new. Very good quality and amassing design.

I gave these blocks to my son when he was 13 months. That time, what he did was chewing on each block (so, I had to keep those small parts aside) Now that he's 20 months, he's still playing with it and still loving it. This set is working so well with another Haba block set that we have already had. We had lots of fun building the towers with it. When I buy this set, I know that I will never go wrong.

These are such wonderful blocks...we bought them for our daughter for her first birthday, and they are a favorite. So colorful, with terrific designs and shapes. Very well made, like all Haba toys and would be a lovely gift.

These blocks are fantastic. So many block sets I've seen are the same block in just a different color. These blocks give so many more options for creativity with their unique shapes and designs. I hemmed and hawed about whether or not to spend so much on what seemed like a small set, but it was well worth it!
