Grows with child

We have just received this toy and our daughter loves it. She has not reached the recommneded 6 month-old for this toy yet, but we are comfortable letting her play with it because as a HABA toy it is very safe. She is now grasping the dragon, and starting to peek at the beautiful castle. This toy is many toys in one. Iit offers several play scenarios for different age groups that guarantee many hours of imagination fun -and some wonderful memories.

Awesome toy

We bought this castle for our daughter on her first birthday. She really enjoys this adorable set. She carries the dolls around the house and loves to put them inside the castle. It is a great introduction to imaginative play and pretending. This is a wonderful set.

simply adorable

This is a great multiage toy. It has a peekaboo element, sliders, mirrors, a velcro door and even 2 small marbles encased in mesh that can be pushed around. My 10 month old likes the crinkling leaves and peekaboo the best and older brother loves that there is a knight and dragon to play with. The castle can be turned inside out or even just zig zagged open for play. We especially like this set for traveling. The house folds flat, the people are relatively small and it safely spans all young age ranges. Haba has made this set well and I look forward to seeing this vibrant castle on my nursery floor for years to come!

Perfect for traveling!

We recently took this on an overseas trip (3 flights totaling 24 hours of consecutive air travel - each way!) & while this wasn't the only toy we brought it was the one that would keep my daughter's attention REPEATEDLY for 30-45 minutes at a time. The castle has so many interesting features for my 10 month old to explore. There is one wall that is simply embroidered - it doesn't "do" anything - but that doesn't bother her. It is very sturdy & folds up nicely in your bag. She likes the dolls too, but not as much as the castle itself. I've purchased this for other babies & the parents say they LOVE it!

Baby's First Imaginative play Toy.

I bought this castle play set for my daughter's first birthday. She immediately took to it and started making the knight and the princess walk and dance. It was adorable! She loves the 'jewels' in the net and the flag and bee that slide on the string. My four year old loves to play with it too. I would definitely recommend this toy for ages six months to 6 years, boy or girl. I didn't give it a perfect score only because it doesn't always stay buttoned together.

so glad we finally got this

I wanted to get this set when our older son was a baby, but finally bought it for our second son, who is almost 1. I am so glad we have it! There are so many fascinating features--like the little flat marbles under netting on one side of the castle, which give baby cool textures to explore. The dragon is nice and big and soft, and he and the knight and princess have sweet, pleasant faces. And surprise: my 2 1/2 year old likes it, too! He opens it up and sits down and plays "house" inside it. :)

Great fun for many ages

We got this for our daughter for her first birthday. I wish we had gotten it sooner! She loves the sound the dragon makes and loves looking at each "page" of the castle, especially the chicken page. I can easily see her engaging in pretend play when she's older. There are lots of things for little hands to explore on the castle until they are ready to pretend. We will get a lot of use out of it!

What an amazing toy

I thought this set would be a great toy when I ordered it. But it is much more than that. After receiving and opening the box I was amazed and surprised how much bigger this set is than I had imagined. The book or castle has so many wonderful things to discover - moving marbles, rustling trees, a movable butterfly, a peek-a-boo chicken and the dragon makes a cute rattling noise. The dolls are great for tiny hands. This is one of the best toys I have bought. I can recommend this toy to anyone that has young children.
