Holding up well

I bought this lion with several other Holztiger wooden jungle animalsl. I was worried that as my daughter and friends played with them they would nick and scratch them up and they wouldn't really look much like animals any more. I know that children need to play with toys, I just didn't know if these would hold up to real play. It has been a year and they all look great! She loves playing with them and I love that they encourage her to be creative and they also still look great!

beautiful figure

My daughter recieved this as a 1st birthday present with other aimal figures (seems earlier than recomended age). She sometimes put this into her mouse, but the painting is never gone bad. She also hit table with figures quite strong, but every edge and detail is still look like new. This wooden material must be stronger than I thought. The texture is so natural and soft. No sharp edge unlike cheap plastic animal figures. I definitely will purchase more animals to make bigger collection.

By far our favorite!

My daughter has several of the Holztiger figures and this one is by far her favorite. She makes the roaring sound of a lion and "walks" him along her playmat. She's 16 mo old but loves all of these figures - they're very well made, durable, and we even play stacking games with them.
