Nice challenge and lesson in natural history
I like this puzzle, because it teaches children about how animals change throughout their development. As children build layer upon layer the frogs grow up from tadpoles to adult frogs. I found this a good challenge for a child around 3. These puzzles are great; they keep children highly concentrated putting them together again and again. They are also a good size to be taken along on trips, the doctors office, etc...
Must have for every 3yr old
We first bought the frog layer puzzle. It was an instant hit in our family. This puzzle was so different from all the others that it attracted their attention and it was also more challenging despite fact that it does not even have that many pieces.
We later added the garden and the chicken family. We have had most of them for about a year and they are still among our top favorites. Also, any child that turns 3 gets one of these gifted by us.
